Thanks! Do you know which one is updating faster? For me the new one doesn't show any updates since filing....so for me the old one is way faster....

Merry Christmas everyone! :)

For me  the new one doesn’t either. The old one is way better. Merry Christmas to you too 😁🎄

To all those who are patiently/eagerly waiting for our combo cards and interview letters, i suggest to get a Nintendo switch and buy a bunch of fun games! They are so much fun and they will keep you entertained the whole day. You won't even think of any paperwork you're waiting for. :D Get the Just Dance game, it's a good workout and it's so much fun! Get the mario games! It's very nostalgic! :D Also, try make a bunch of recipes online even if you're not a good cook. That'll keep you busy during the day while you wait for your hubby/wifey to get home from work. Have a Merry Christmas everybody and Have a wonderful New Year! :D

So this morning, informed delivery is showing me that I'm getting 2 separate envelopes from the Department of Homeland Security/National Benefits Center with the date 12/19 in the corner of each envelope.

I'm thinking it's my husband's EAD and AP docs but thought I'd only receive one envelope for both. Am I wrong?

ROC Filing:

4/21/2021 - Sent ROC Package via FedEx

4/22/2021 - FedEx package delivered and signed

5/11/2021 - Check cashed

5/14/2021 - Received NOA1 via mail (NOA1 date: 5/8/2021)

6/9/2021 -  Biometrics waived - Case updated to Fingerprints taken

Not to sound like a Debbie Downer but has your status changed on the app to "card issued" etc? If not, it could be RFE's.....

No my status hasn't changed. And I wouldn't receive 3 separate envelopes if they're RFEs. Our I-485 was put into case ready for interview 30 days after our filing date so we're not getting a RFE for that. And the status doesn't always update on the tracker.

I just confirmed with one of my other friends and her husband got 3 envelopes. One envelope had the EAD/AP combo card and the other two envelopes were approval letters for each the EAD and AP. In the corner of the envelope I can see our date is 12/19/2018.

Three? I thought you said two? That's why it made sense to me as they could be 2 RFEs (one for EAD and AP, seperately). You're right about the status change (it doesnt always change). It could be just the approval letters for EAD and AP and not the card too.

I also got an informed delivery notice on Monday for a USCIS envelope dated 12/19 but I won't be getting back until tomorrow to check! It looks like I only have one envelope, though it did say I have a number of other mailpieces that they did not have any images for... Could this one envelope be an approval?! My status hasn't changed online.

I would be gutted if this is an RFE because I also had my I-485 changed to ready to schedule interview since early September.

Was it an approval?! I also got an informed delivery notice for an envelope dated 12/19 and we have very similar timelines.... hoping mine isn't an RFE 😮

Hello all, and happy holidays!

I've been waiting for an update on my EAD/AP cases all month. I was hoping I'd get some news during these days, but both cases still read "Case Was Received" (since August 6th).
Both my approval estimates are past due according to VJ timelines.
Is there anything I can do at this point?

Does anyone expedite the EAD based on a pending job offer?

I am a late August filer (NOA date 30th August). I am supposed to start working on the 21st of January amd based on visajourney I should get the approval between the 10th and the 21st January. So is it worth it / faster to expedite the EAD

I think that's definitely too short a time window to get an expedite.
keep in mind it's the holiday season. you CAN put an expedite, I just know they have too much volume going on with that so most likely you won't even get a response by the work start date. Expedite these days is taking MONTHS.

But no harm in trying.

I have the same situation as well. Spoke to my lawyer, and he said to wait until the NBC processing date goes past my NOA date(8/6/18), then we can open a service request. As of today, they are processing July 10th 2018.

Just keep checking the processing dates for EAD/AP at the National Benefits Centre. Once you've past the date to make an enquiry you can do so but unfortunately the dates on VJ are only a projection based on the info members provide. The processing times on USCIS list the actual date of when you can make an inquiry request.
