Nope. Honestly, it caught me by surprise. I wasn't expecting to hear anything until February. I guess they are working faster, who knows!

the surprise is happening evrywhere. i was surprise with my interview notice early november and up to this point i didn't receive my EAD and AP combo but i went to the interview today and it was as simple as that just a complete review of everything that we have already submited and some few personal questions regarding our relationship and that's all. the interview was 12; 45 this morning and at 7;30 this afternoon, i got a notification in the USCIS APP saying my new card is being produced

Did you get your passport stamped at the interview?

No I didnt. I havent had an update on my status either. It's still on case must be reviewed. Interview was on November 29

Oh that is annoying...what was the outcome of the interview if I am allowed to ask?

Also here’s what I sent on both cases with my original forms: 

 

- Form I-131 signed by applicant

- Two (2) passport style photos of applicant

- Copy of applicant’s passport (biographic, stamps and visas)

- Copy of applicants K1 Visa

- Copy of Form I-94 Record of Arrival

- Copy of Form I-797 Approval Notice for I-129F Application

- Certified Marriage Certificate

I would believe that you need to update all your document s as you change your name, not the birth certificate for obv reasons, but id and passport I assume. That s why I never considered changing, at this point you just want to simplify your life. Why don't you go in your embassy for help or call uscis for clear info on how to proceed? Good luck!

 I don’t know about that. I sent all my info the same way she did - and so did many people - and didn’t get an RFE. My guess is that they weren’t able to locate her marriage certificate...

My uscis account has been locked for no reason at all.  I follow their instructions to get my username and they send me the same one so i try getting in with the same username they sent me and it says invalid username 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ Been like this for like a week or so

Reset your password, that worked for me after the same problem.

I tried that and it says invalid username. The same username they keep sending me to use 🙁

Mine was like that for last week, I couldn’t log in or reset password. It said my account had been locked. After a week without access I tried again and it finally let me reset password and login.

it was weird! Shortly after that I got an email from USCIS with an update they had previously sent on November 8th. 3 days later I got an email saying I just reset my password and can now login to check my case status. 

I  think the system has a glitch.

i guess im gonna have to wait then 🤷🏻‍♀️ I hope it works soon. 🙏🏻 And i dont like using the new account cause it has the dates all wrong 🤦🏻‍♀️
