Just received notice that case is ready to be schedule for interview! 😀  We submitted on 7/31/18 and had the biometric appointment on 9/14/18.  We missed first appointment because of non-deliverable mail and never received our NOA1 or appointment letter.  It was issue with USPS and our mail carrier, so frustrating.  We find out USPS has an app call "Informed Delivery" which you can register for and is free.  USPS scans all letter size mail for processing and you can log on app to see all letters coming to your address on the app.  Not that it really helps, if our mail carrier decides to deliver my mail to wrong mailbox again, but now at least I know the notice was sent by USCIS.

My case was approved and card is being produced. 😁  Finally! I was beginning to think this shutdown was going to be the end of me 🤣 Hopefully I get my card in the mail soon.

TerJer, did you get a notice for "Ready to Schedule" or did they skip that step and you just got notice indicating "Interview was Scheduled"?

All week I've been calling USCIS, the system was not working, but today I tried again, finally I was able to talk to someone, he told me that this is not normal, cause it's have been more  than 30 days since i received the Noa, he send a notification to the office that  I sent my case  , (Chicago). Now I don't know how long I have to wait without biometric letter . Im the only waiting ?

Hey everyone! 

I recieved a letter today saying my GC interview has been scheduled for Dec.6. Feels surreal!

 

I did not receive an update on the app, the letter just showed up! 

 

My timeline is filled in :)

We had "Ready to Schedule" first then I would say a good 10 or 15 days before it then turned to "Interview was Scheduled"

I'm so sorry, my friend, I'm feeling sad too, but I'm sure you can retry, I have 58 days waiting for biometric letter , now I do not know what to think, since I read that they were not going to send more RFE, I am a little worried, I think they should send you RFE to adjoint sponsor. I do not know what to think right now, I feel sad .sorry again.
