Naes, which number to call? I still don't have my biometrics letter as well. I am getting kinda sad about it. Sucks.

Uscis. I’ve read about cases where the mail just didn’t come or got lost. I think uscis can at least see if they sent something. Also you can check if you can do walk-in to your closest ASC or field office

I definitely give it a try. My noa was in September and I finished my biometrics.

at least you can know if they’ve sent something or if you should do a walk-in

Our case just got the ready for interview update today. They got our package aug 8th and we did fingerprints on sep 7th but the cases never updated until today! We have not heard anything about the EAD which I thought we’d be getting before the interview and all that. Our local office is Dallas which according to their website is super backed up so we’ll see. Anybody from Dallas with info on how far they pushed their interview?

I'm gonna give it a shot on Monday. It's making me paranoid that it got lost in the mail or something worse. Thanks Naes. :)

You got me excited for a brief moment!

Hahaha, sorry about that... I’m trying to use humor to deal with this situation...

Today I called USCIS and they mentioned they indeed have not sent me a letter for my biometrics appointment.

Their waiting time was about 30 minutes and it felt like 3 times that with due to the most annoying  background music of the year. That’s a very ingenious way to make sure I think 10 times before calling them again. 😂

Did they mention why or when to expect it?  Based off several forums and trackit it looks like the entire week before Labor Day is delayed. If you filed the week before or after most people have gotten their biometric. The paranoid part of me is afraid they lost all the files that week or something.

My notice date is Aug 25th. We sent the package on the 23rd. I don’t think they have lost anything, or else we wouldn’t have gotten our NOA1... Maybe the team that is working on that specific week cases is especially slow... 😂
