And what about this 2 questions:

1. Is your current spouse applying with you? Yes or no?

2. Are you applying for adjustment based on the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) section 245(i) ? Yes or no?

1st one you can understand it in 2 ways... and second dont know. Sorry for bothering

The first question is if the other spouse is also applying to adjust their status then answer yes. If not then no.

For question 2, please read the AOS instructions regarding how to answer this question if it applies to you.

Where you able to get your social security number?

I am freaking out :(. We just came from the Social Security office and were told that my fiance's K1 visa is mismatched and we were unable to get the social.

Hi, I had a similar problem when applying for SSN after getting married, I had to apply for SSN when I filled for my AED.

We checked the box on the AOS form , saying we wanted to get a SS # at the same time as the AOS,EAD... does the SS department automatically send to my wife? Or do we go apply once we get her EAD?

Your wife will automatically be sent a SSN card.

Please read the instructions for each form as it explains and answers these questions so that you know how to best answer the questions that apply to you and marriage.

no, when you are filling the form for your EAD, they will ask you if you also have an SSN, you are going to choose no, I want to apply for SSN, and in the form you will see more question about the SSN , you have to respond, automatically your EAD is approved your SSN will also be

We sent $1140 because we did biometrics over seas already for K1, does this mean they will accept or reject the app because we didn't send the $1225?

Unfortunately, you are looking at a rejection. The biometrics done for the K1 do not count for the adjustment of status. The ones I did here involved a questionnaire I had to fill out (weight, eye color, hair color, race, etc). They also  took my fingerprints  and a picture that will show up on the EAD/AP card and eventually on the green card.

Wait for them to send your package back and resend it.
