Hello everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone knows how long does it usually take to get the medical exam done in El Salvador. In addition, does anyone know how long does someone usually have to stay in El Salvador from day 1 until visa is approved?.

Bio metrics for i601a appt was done on the 27th of June, 2018. We are currently waiting on I601a to be approved. We are very positive that it will be approved :)

My husband is going through the samething. He did his medical Exam August 20 and haven’t heard back from the Doctor Karla Tobar. And I was told from people that she takes her time and send results when she is ready. But hopefully you’re okay my husband had other things that happen so maybe that’s why his case taking longer. Praying for you

Hello

We are going on 6 months since biometrics were done, was told takes 4-6 months to get an answer.  Current wait times are taking 8 mos.  I’m wondering what kind of exams are done.  Also was told they tend not to honor Interview appt and try to keep you longer.  Anyone have some information they can share ?

Our doctor said the medical results would be done in less than 10 business days.

My husband's sister who is living in San Salvador called the doctors' offices last Thursday, 9/13, because my husband interview is on 9/27 and we just got word from the lawyer that he could book his flight to return for the interview. When his sister called the doctors, they said "yes, we can get you the results before 9/27, as long as you have an appointment on 9/17 or 9/18." We made the appointment for 9/18, he went today and it took about 5 hours. Lots of tests and vaccinations for things he already got but couldn't prove because he didn't have records. Get ready for this.

As far as we know all went well with the doctor today, and the results will be ready by 9/27, as they promised. Fingers crossed.
