Passport renewel

Is there anyone who recently sent there UK passport off to be renewed. They recieved my supporting documents yesterday (August 1st) status updated to "declaration form received, being processed" I'm travelling back to the UK in 10weeks 1day. I'm hoping i have it back by then I know it stated 4-6weeks turn around but you know theres usually delays! I really dont want to have to travel to DC to get an emergency passport if it hasnt arrived in 9weeks time

Hello, last year I sent my UK passport off for a name change. Course two days later I was offered the opportunity for a long weekend in Canada, which was annoying timing! Mine took around 3wks to be returned. Hope yours comes back soon, know it’s nerve racking being without it!

I sent mine back for name change. It took 4 weeks and that's with me having to resend in pics. So very quick. They send tracking info and it took 2-3 days from when I got that alert as shipped through FedEx. Again very fast. I think you'll be fine.

Wow that was fast! My status updated to "dispatched" on tuesday the 7th then got an text to say DHL is delivering it tomorrow. Super fast they recieved it on august 1st and will have it in hand tomorrow august 10th, just 10 days! So much for the 3-6weeks turn around window

Where is the best place to get passport pics taken to renew my husbands UK passport since the measurements are different for the UK passport vs US passport?

I went to rite aid... They are significantly larger but if you read the actual paperwork even thoit states other countries standard size pictures are larger than UK requirements it says they will still accept them aslong as you don't cut them to a smaller size. My rite aid passport pictures were 2 times larger than the UKs maximum required size but they still accepted them.
