I was hoping people who've traveled with an AP who also had/have a deportation order would share their experience about coming back into the USA? I am at a crossroad with my case. I can either take the risk of leaving the country on a cruise to come back in as a means of having a lawful entry but could possibly not be allowed back in. Or I can file a I212 but have to wait 8-9 months and face an employment gap and plus my TPS expires in a year. I am married to a US citizen but was brought here illegally by my mom and also received a deportation under her case when I was 9.

Has anyone successful left with the circumstances I mention above and what was your experience?

Thanks in advance.

She would have to file for you, you can either wait for your approval in Haiti or stay here in the U.S and pay a fine in order to get your paperwork. Since you were young and did not willingly enter the U.S you should have a good chance of things working out for you. However I do not recommend leaving the country thats a chance you don't want to take what so ever.

Thank you for your reply. I am glad to say that I left the country and came back without any hiccups. I traveled with my husband and son on a cruise and came back 2 days later as of yesterday and coming back in was painless. I am a woman of faith and decided to move with the peace that I felt to move forward. Blessings and favor to anyone else in similar circumstances who decides to travel out of the country on Advance Parole.
