Hello everyone! I hope somebody can answer me with this. How long will it take to receive my CENOMAR from Philippines to Japan? I just received my instructions from the US Embassy in Tokyo today and listed the other requirements I have to comply and mail before my interview. Now, among the additional requirements that worries me alot is CENOMAR. May I ask for anyone who have done this how long did it take to receive the cenomar from Philippines to Japan? I avail their service of 'special courier' thru FedEx and hope that it will not take them 6-8 weeks to send it to me as the site tells. I am worried because my I-29f expires on early October. Hope somebody can answer me. Thank you!

Relax.  Your I-129F will not expire, the embassy will automatically extend it for 4 more months .. up to 1 years.

Have a family member get it for you and they send to you there in Japan. Two weeks tops.

Like Hank says, you have one year to finish. You will need to ask the Embassy for an extension if needed.

Thanks for your response. But it says valid until 10/4/2018 and I have to apply for visa before it expires? Or I understand it wrong. Anyways, it is a relief to know this. Thank you!

As long as you take action on it, like schedule an appointment for the interview, even after the expiration, the embassy will renew/extend the validity of it as they understand it takes time to get paperwork and sometime even appointments arent available for extended times.

I'm doubting though it will take that long to get the CENOMAR though but you have time.

You are understanding wrong.  The embassy will extend the validity of your I-129F for up to 1 year... they do this automatically once you start the visa application.   You are fine.  Relax ;)
