Hello everyone,

I would like to know what do I suppose to provide as evidence of proof that you and your fiance stay in touch. I thought about show proof of phone calls, messages, western union receipt.

also cards, letters, emails........Provide enough to show evidence of continuing communication......but not hundreds of pages, imo.

Depending on what country the beneficiary is from can depend on exactly how much you need to show. We just used literally 6-7 pages of screen shots of our Imessages to show a timeline of communication for the I-129f petition(also same for interview phase just showing the timeline between petition submition and then). Also included couple of the original emails when we first started talking. I think I supplied 1-2 Xoom (western union like company) receipts showing minor support just for him to pay for mobile internet and such.... depending again on the embassy, how much money it is, and how frequently, it can look bad though also so kind of have to be cautious perhaps on that.  But again, depending on the country of the beneficiary can help dictate exactly how much info you need to give, whether keep it simple or front load the petition .

 

What stage are you at in this process? Submitting the petition or already to interview?

Most importantly you need to prove that you have met in person in the last two years.   It will also help to prove that there is a serious relationship, you can provide anything that shows communication between the two of you.  

If you have visited or vice versa, include copy of the tickets, print out message conversations.

I would suggest not to include receipts that you have sent her money since it is not a requirement that you support her.

Woulds go easy on the Western Union, could be seen as a bad thing.

the most important thing is proof of meeting within the past 2 years. 

 

as far as proof of ongoing communication (i dont even think thats asked for), a few screenshots printed of chats or emails, call logs, etc will be fine. I did include a few facebook screenshots, and phone records, just for the hell of it, but we have far more concrete and plentiful evidence of time together so thats where my effort went in.

For proof of having met I included:

2 labeled (stating what year and where) pictures from each year I had seen him (5 years of long distance dating).  Different haircuts and clothes showed the time difference. Copies of passport stamps that corresponded with the year labeled on the back of the pictures

Copies of airline tickets and/or flight itineraries (probably wasn't needed, but I sent them anyway)

Copies of emails exchanged since we first started dating (2010)

Facebook messenger transcripts over the years; 2-3 conversations every 3 months of various topics discussed. Not just "I miss you" but future planning stuff like how many kids we want, wedding plans etc.

If you fill in your timeline, people replying will know what embassy/consulate you're going through and where you are in the process. This matters; as others have noted, USCIS only cares about solid proof that you've met in the last two years. At the embassy stage, you need proof of an ongoing relationship. However, for some countries, it's best to include that with your petition.

I used a Visa service and was told that the very best proof of existing relationship (meaning, the easiest to verify and validate) is emails (preferably gmail emails).  If you do not have one already, both of you sign up for a free gmail account and start emailing each other.  You will be all set :-)

Thanks everyone for your quick response, I really appreciate your advice. I am in the process of fill out the application. I am waiting for her to send some documents. We met in person in December 2017, I have couple pictures, flight ticket. The thing is we know each other for other 10 years now and things GOD, we have couple pictures showing that we were dating when we were young. We are just coming back to our first love.
