Hi Everyone,

I have a DACA that is about to expire Aug.29, 2018. I submitted my IR1 and everything has been approved, I received a CC notice on May 3rd (3 months waiting for an interview in CDJ). I never received a renewal notice for DACA, is it recommended that I send the renewal application now, or should I keep waiting for the appointment, I called the NVC this morning and I was told there was no updates in regards to my interview.

Thanks in advance.

If I was in your situation, I would've already submitted a renewal application for DACA. I would not want to lose my job, my drivers license, and risking the possibility of being detained for unlawful status while waiting for CDJ appointment.

Also, there is a possibility that after August 8 no one will be able to renew DACA anymore.

Best of luck!
