so your concern is that the advisory panels who determine if accommodations are provided is not sufficient/don't know what they're doing.

So to get these accommodations do these advisory panels interview the student and the diagnosing doctor to make sure it is a legitimate application, or do they simply just accept a Dr.'s note?

i'm not a college admin.

my only experience with this is what i had to go through to get my son's iep, and it wasn't just 'showing a dr note' once and done. it's an ongoing process, been at it for ten school years now.
