I just noticed on the I797C, are the beneficiary and petitioner's should be the conditional GC holder's name? Or should the petitioner's name should be my husband's (US citizen)? I'm just curious

So sounds like the standard stuff.  Checking that we have dotted the I's and crossed the T's/

probably means csc just doing their usual，transfering workload...but eh，i wish they just proceed directly.

Please tell me how to contact a representative from USCIS. I tried but we couldnt find that option. When entered the receipt number automated reply said it is not valid number.

Got the letter to go to the biometrics appointment on Friday and had to go today, nothing like giving you some notice! Just the standard picture, finger prints and signature. Hopefully won’t be waiting too long for next part now.

Got my biometrics done. They only did photo and then right hand because they were able to find the rest of the fingerprints in the system

 

She also told me that if I am ever late or something happens I dont need to reschedule. They will still take me late or the next day.

 

I told them about 18 months letter extension and they were surprised to hear that they have changed it from one year, so clearly they don't know anything about timelines. Before I asked her about expected time she said that she would anticipate that 18 months that I got on my extension letter for approval.

 

The office was almost empty and I was out within 20 minutes.

We received notification by text and e-mail on Friday, June 7th that my husband's case was transferred to another service center. We have not received the letter just yet, so I'm not sure where it went. We were at California. My guess is either Vermont or Nebraska.

every now and then i get this email saying no update and they last took action jan 24, 2019. however when i check my case status online, it showed they received the case and the fingerprint fee oct 2, 2018; nothing about jan 24.. 

 

our case was transferred to the texas service center from california. so far no updates at all since we got the extension letter last october. anybody else in the same boat? i see people getting their fingerprints done or waived but we havent heard anything. :/
