Received my biometrics letter today scheduled for 6/13 however, I plan to go in earlier as I’m off this week and not the next haha fingers crossed they let me walk in or reschedule it early. 

K1 Journey

[*]03/08/2015 got engaged

[*]06/09/2015 Sent i-195f

[*]06/23/2015 NOA 1 Received

[*]07/20/2015 NOA 2 Received

[*]09/02/2015 Received case number

[*]10/16/2015 Had medical

[*]10/26/2015 Had interview in london (I was in the embassy for 7 hours)

[*]11/04/2015 Approved!! K1 visa received

[*] Green Card/AOS

[*]03/01/2016 Flew together for the first time :D!!

[*]03/01/2016 Arrived in the US, Saint Paul,MN

[*]03/04/2016 Applied for SSN (name was entered wrong by immigration at POE will take 4 weeks for card)

[*]03/12/2016 Sent off AOS/EAD/AP

[*]03/25/2016 SSN received ( after 3 weeks!!) Opened joint bank accounts and my own account,added name to car insurance

[*]Went back to SSN office to change name (name still wrong in the system wait 4 weeks again....)

[*]04/07/2016 Put Cv on job sites - indeed, monster etc

[*]04/11/2016 Chose one job and contacted congressman to expedite EAD (needed to send a privacy form, all case receipts, letter asking why i needed it expedited(financial burden on company/ myself, job offer letter)

[*]04/15/2016 RFE for AOS all other cases put on hold (congressman told me no update from USCIS site)

Just got my biometrics appointment. It is scheduled on June 12tt. The notice date is 05/24. The stamp on the envelope shows 05/29 and I recevied it today. My case is in Nebraska office (orignally there)! Yay some novement!

Yay some movements from Nebraska, my case was forwarded to Nebraska from Ca after I got my extention letter. I hope we hear something soon. I'm happy for you.

Hello all, 

 

I am applying for ROC with divorce waiver, my new girlfriend and I are thinking to get married in August and my 3 years GC will be in October. Do you know if I can apply for the N400 if I am married with another citizen that is not the same that sponsor the first GC. 

 

I have read that people don't recommend to get married before the ROC because can be "" suspicious " but I think that is stupid since it a happens all the time nit just with immigrants.. 

 

 

Any thoughts or experiences please 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Please read the n400 instructions and see if your situation applies to the 3year requirements

I also received my biometrics appointment letter yesterday. Notice date is 05/24, envelope stamp is 05/29. Appointment is on 06/13. 

My case was also transferred from California to Nebraska with a stop at Arizona to cash my check.

Also received biometrics letter, will try to do an early walk in. Case is at Nebraska. I think they're finally getting to our cases, we should see movement soon

I think you need to submit N-400 90 days before the month and date on your green card. So from July 2019 to October 2019 would be your window to submit. Correct me if I am wrong.

Citizenship

09/10/2019 - Submitted application online

09/11/2019 - USCIS received application

10/03/2019 - Biometric appointment

01/21/2020 - Interview scheduled

02/26/2020 - Interview Day

02/26/2020 - Approved

05/18/2020 - Oath ceremony scheduled

06/03/2020 - US Citizen!

I see a bunch of people have received fingerprint letters, great to see stuff moving at last. Just wanted to see if any of those you just received the biometrics letter had previously been sent letters saying their fingerprints would be reused? Just want to know whether I need to be keeping an eye on my mailbox right now, I only received the biometrics waiver a week or two ago!
