Right. They didn't ask me to surrender/or cut the green card because I only got 2 month extension instead of the 1 year.

Got my stamped today. I get to keep my gc because the officer didn't want to cut up my gc since i still have one month left before it expires.

I managed to finally get a receipt number, I'm looking to add it to my case and it keeps saying my receipt number is incorrect, although I found out the finger print fee had been accepted. I'm getting very frustrated!!!

So I just got off the phone with USCIS since no NOA has arrived today (due date for me was October 21st.) and they told me that they were already processing them TODAY, (again....!! because I didn't receive it.... how did they know?).  So I should wait 3 to 30 days to receive my NOAs.  I Asked them about the biometrics and they put my case on queue to get me an appointment, and again I should wait up to 30 days.  It is like I just sent my case last week!!!  I am so annoyed!, but... again, it is good to know I am not alone in this process.   Thank you all for your contributions!  Good luck!

Just an update on our interview.  They were able to proceed with the n400 interview but didn't have the i751 in their possession so my wife passed the interview but will need to go back to the office when they have the i751 so that can be approved first.  

 

The supervisor allowed me to sit in and ask questions because of the confusing way we filed everything.  I did ask about where is our physical i751 because we sent it to California but our check was cashed in Texas and they were able to track our filed to the persons desk it was on in Texas.  

 

I think that answers the question about if we sent our file to California and the check was cashed in another state where is the file.  She told me if it was cashed in Texas that is where its at.

I just called the USCIS and the agent filed a request for missing document for me. She also gave me a confirmation number for that. She says that the request goes directly to the issuing office (Nebraska in my case). I gave her all my timeframe and she said that yes my NOA should have been received 10 days after I got my email/text.

 

I asked her if she can see if my NOA was sent. She said that it was sent to me on 09/27. Funny enough, when I called two weeks ago a different agent told me that it was sent on 09/29, and I never received my email/text until 09/28. She said that I should get a follow up between 15-30 days. 🙄

did you submit G-1145 form with your application?  that's the only way to get email/text.

I sent my ROC package to California 8/13 . Check got cashed in Arizona 9/26 and got my receipt number from one of their agent that starts with SRC that doesn't even work when I check status online and SRC is Texas service center code.  California, Arizona & now Texas It's so confusing.

the case should be where your receipt number letters start with.

 

But in the past, if the case was transferred, the case number didn't change. Who knows if it is still true.

 

I Strongly believe that our cases were transferred twice (first to where the check was sent, second to where your receipt number starts with) and because it was transferred twice, they never sent us receipt notices (probably misunderstanding between two offices). Now they realized that, so they issued the updated on the website and they are resending all the notices that were never sent in the first place. but this is JUST MY OPINION.

So my husband and I called the USCIS today (because according to the update from last week we should all have received our letters by today) and after speaking with the first Tier 1 lady she transferred us to a Tier 2. We were then told that they were all informed today that all NOA's have been SENT OUT by today, not RECEIVED by today. She then said that it should be this week, most likely tomorrow. I am skeptical (mostly because I'm tired of being disappointed) but still have a sliver of hope that it will be this week. 🧐

USCIS has completed receipting and data entry for all filings of Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, received between May 1 and Sept. 9, 2018. Petitioners should receive receipt notices by Oct. 22, 2018. On June 13, 2018, USCIS announced that the California Service Center (CSC) was experiencing a delay in initial data entry for Form I-751. After changing the filing location for Form I-751 from the USCIS Service Centers to the USCIS Lockbox facilities in September, USCIS completed receipting and data entry of these petitions on Oct. 1. If you submitted a Form I-751 to the CSC between May 1 and Sept. 9, 2018, and you have not received a receipt notice, do not file a duplicate Form I-751 unless you have received a rejection notice or have been instructed to do so by the CSC. If your two-year green card has expired and you have not received a receipt notice, you may schedule an appointment online for you and any eligible dependents to be seen at your local field office. If possible, bring evidence that you sent your Form I-751 via the U.S. Postal Service or a delivery service, such as FedEx. If you have any questions about the process, visit the USCIS Contact Center page.

this makes me believe even more in my theory that they never issued the NOA's in the first place for the cases that were transferred 🙄
