It's bugging me, my card doesn't expire until mid next month but they were quick enough to cash the payment but have not even had the decency to send a letter or provide any sort of update. Feel like everyone has been left in limbo it's a joke.

I hear you. My 30 day mark since the letter was "sent" will be next week. Then they will be able to file a service request for the "missing mail". Service request can take up to 30 days. What a mess.

Hi

My i-751 was delivered on 8/13 at CSC and check was cashed on 9/25 (Arizona). I haven't received NOA yet, and I called uscis today, but i wasn't able to find out my receipt # or any update regarding my case. My driver's license will be expired next week, so I'm really frustrated. Any advice on renewing driver's license?

I recommend you try calling back again and see if you get someone else who may be able to help. The same thing happened to us when we first called, they said they can’t help us and nothing can be found. We called again an hour later and the gentlemen found our case number.

Did you spoke to Tier1 or Tier2 agent?

Thanks. I called again and got my case no. starting LIN. They said i should receive my NOA by 24th this month and recommended to make an appointment with local USCIS office to get a stamp for drivers license renewal. But there’s no available time for next 14 days. I guess I just have to keep checking infopass or hope to receive the extension letter before 24th. I dont think i will be able to renew my license before it expires 😩😩 unless I receive the letter within 2days. I’m so glad to see my case status online anyway. Thank you.

Can you just renew online without DMV visit?

yeah, can you renew your driver license online? we live in wa state and we can just renew our license online without going to visit the dmv in person.

Hi  I have a question if anyone can help, I am waiting for my extention letter after filling for I-751, they cashed the check less then 2 weeks ago and on my bank account it shows as Debit not as a check, my green card expires on 22nd of October and still no extension letter, how long is a wait for the letter and what happens when my GC expires and I still didn't receive anything.

Thank you

hi, if you have been following the thread, 99% of us are all waiting for the extension letter. If you need your receipt number, the best thing to do is to call the hotline of USCIS and ask them.

if your green card expires, there's nothing you could do but wait for the letter. unless you need to travel out the country, then you would need to get a stamp on your passport through infopass.

no idea how long we should wait for the letter. the people at uscis would tell you to wait 30 days from when your check got cashed to receive the letter. after 30 days and you still have nothing, then call them for missing mail/document/notice of action.
