What about all the pics....I should have sorted them ages ago but they are all 'numbered' on my inbox :S

You don't 'have' to send pictures at all if you don't want. It is up to you what proof of relationship you give them.

I don’t think the marriage certificate is necessary. They already know you’re  married. Had this topic come up in another forum.

Good grief.  I am preparing my packet and just have:

1.  Deed for house.

2.  Loan we took out together

3.  IRS Transcripts

4.  3 letters of affidavits

5.  Beneficiary (only listing him as he contracts and does not have one for me)

6.  Joint MC bills (a couple from 2017 and a couple from 2018)

7.  Joint Bank Statements (a couple from 2016, 2017, 2018)

8.  Joint Utility bills (a couple form 2016, 2017, 2018)

9.  Tax bills

10.  Cancelled checks for major purchases

Do you need your marriage license and photos.  They didn't ask for any of that.

Thanks for your advice.

I am under the impression that although the Marriage Certificate is not a requirement - it's still a good idea to include it because it includes A) Any name changes, if applicable ( Yes this would have still been covered in the AOS, but it's again for reference ), B) the Marriage Certifcate shows that you are still married to the same person C) If they wanted to look up your Marriage Certificate, they can, to make sure there's no otherwise Divorce Paperwork?

Hey guys.. while looking for general information I stumbled upon this post from 2009. It's a little outdated but I still found it interesting and definitely answered some of the questions I had.

hello,

did you guys write the A-number on the personal check? and on which side?

You should include the A number or the name of the petitioner on the Check. Include the I-751 Fee and Biometric Fee on the Check.

i included my wife’s number and her name with middle initial.

i believe the USCIS has a site about paying fees and it says some of this.

Yep that's what I saw too for the check. It doesn't make sense that they didn't include that note in their instructions, too.

If I may ask, how many pages did you guys end up having? I'm easily running into the 400 pages or more right now. Two full phone bills - just 76 pages alone for the two..... I downloaded phone logs and put them into a Table, much more reasonable. So I'm putting two phone bills, then the tabulated phone logs after...

Not sure how many pages but maybe about 1 1/2 - 2" thick.

Did anyone submit cards as supporting evidence? We have some cards that we've given to each other and from family for holidays. Was wondering how to make copies of them or if it's even worth submitting.
