I just received the NOA1 (extension letter). My I-751 was received on 9/17/2018.

But the problem is: I only received one extension letter and my son's name is not on this letter, although I included his case in the I-751 since he is a minor and got green card at the same day as me.

He is going to apply for driver's license soon, but I have no idea how to prove his legal status.

USCIS forgot add his name on the extension letter? or USCIS should also issue another extension letter for him?

Any suggestion? Thank you!

The notice date says 10/03 but my tracking says they sent it 09/22. I guess their dates are just messed up.  My stamp date is 10/11 😬

Hi lala907 what is the duration of extension in your NOA and whats the duration of extension of the stamp in your passport? IS it same or different? Thanks.

Hello,

I am new to this forum, and I have been reading some of your posts, which has been very helpful since I have been very anxious about this process.

I filed i-751 for me and my 3 children and the USCIS, California Office, received it on August 20th.  My Check shows as paid on September 21st, but still no news, no NOA.  Our GC expired on October 4th.

Please feel free to add me to the timeline, I can keep you guys updated with my process.

Also, any advice is welcome.... feeling a bit desperate

Hi, have you called uscis to get your receipt number? If you got your receipt number, you can go onto myaccount.uscis to check the status. right now only one person who filed in the middle of aug has have their noa received yesterday.

Yes, I was on the phone waiting for a representative when I posted. I got my receipt number and they helped me create an online account.  It says that they received my case the same day they cashed the check: Sept 21st, even tho I have proof they got it on August 20th, I guess, they just didn't open it? so I will wait until October 21st to get the NOA, hopefully.  They just said they have had delays... No kidding! Almost 2 months!   I"ll keep you posted.  Thank you very much for your reply!

I have also sent my paperwork that they received on Aug 20th, my account says they received it sept 21st, the same day they cashed my check.  I guess that is the day they opened it?

Me - I have the same exact timeline/dates as your husband I think. It says Sept because even though it arrived at the uscis facility in April they didn't acknowledge it until the data was entered into the system (which for me was the day the cheque was cashed)😬

Wow we are all on the same boat. Really sucks that they put us as submitting the package in Sept than Aug. Because that means we gotta wait an extra month or two...goodness...

Lets hope we get the noa by oct 21st like they say...otherwise everyone is going to get angry

Proof of delivery and case acceptance are two different things. Especcially since our cases were accepted at different service centers than CSC. They never opened them until right before check cashing.

Glad to see a NOA came through, seems like we will still need to make an appt even though we have until november for GC expiration. Being prepared has totally backfired.
