Application Date- Aug 13

Check Cashed - Sept 24 (Nebraska Service Center)

Infopass Appointment- Yesterday, October 11

Then while I was at the infopass appointment, my husband called me saying that my NOA came in the mail, October 11 with 18 month extension! Now I have both the NOA and a stamp! 😆

Is the NOA date and the passport stamp date ( Extension date) the same or different?

VJ Members,

Been trying to be patient; however, we have now decided to call. We filed 8-18-18 our check was cashed 9-27-18, and still no email or letter. Does anyone have the best USCIS Phone Number to call? or is there just one Number? Anyways what is the USCIS number we need to call?

Hi lala907, do you mean the I-797 you received in mail is dated 10/03 but tracking in 'uscis case status' says it was sent on 09/22? What is this stamp date?

so your noa says Oct 03?and you received it yesterday,so it took about 8 days to get then。even though the website said 9~22,it could be they just started to generate the letter?

my husband's case said it was sent out 9~21,but we have nothing in the mail either。funny thing is they cashed the check on the 24th。

by the way, which center you sent?

That's exactly what seem to be happening here. They are starting to post the letters to USPS much later than the case status update says they did. And standard mail takes 7-10days to arrive so we should be getting our mail next week.

Good to hear that people are getting NOAs in the mail.. still waiting for mine. It looks like it takes 2 to 3 weeks to get the NOA from the date checks/money orders were cashed..

I called up USCIS and got my receipt number. When I log onto the "Case Status Online" it says "Fingerprint Fee Was Received"

On October 1, 2018, we accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number WACXXXXXXXX. Our California Service Center location is working on your case. We mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Does that mean the form was accepted and they're sending the NOA? Or could this be a RFE?

Yes. NOA is dated 10/03 but the tracking on the website says they sent the receipt notice 9/22. The stamp date is the one I got on my passport from the infopass appointment yesterday.

I am surprised I got mine first, I live in a rural village in Alaska where mail usually takes a week or two. I sent mine to CSC but got forwarded to Nebraska.
