Sent in my I-751 to CSC on August 9th, package was delivered August 13th. Check has not been cashed yet and no notice. Green card expired 22nd 😞

Yeah, I assume I'm just being unlucky >.< I can't wait until my husband finally tells me the check has been cashed.. My poor nerves, I hate this!

no,dont say that。i m on the same boat as you,my husband hasnt received any updates yet either。and we sent in his stuff last month

Hello All, we received an email today from UCIS stating this: As you can see our case number starts with LIN! Our file was received by CSC on August 10th, check cashed 09/22/2018. Waiting on NOA.

 

Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS Nebraska Service Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) with your Receipt Number LINxxxxxxxxxx. With the official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) you may visit www.uscis.gov where you can check the status of your case using My Case Status. We suggest you wait until you have received your Form I-797 before checking My Case Status.

This confirmation provides notification of the date USCIS received your case.  This notice does NOT grant any immigration status or benefit. You MAY NOT present this notice as evidence that you have been granted any immigration status or benefit. Further, this notice does NOT constitute evidence that your case remains pending with USCIS. The current status of your case must be verified with USCIS

I've never seen a case file starting with LIN, is this specific to the processing center? Mine is still the same from my CR-1 application

So I had my biometrics last Friday and received an update to my Receipt # today for the first time since starting my Removal of Conditions. 

 

So now do I just wait for possible RFE or interview? I know many of us have a long wait ahead of us.

Exactly like it says...they're working on it now. So you just gotta wait to see what you will receive next. Waiting game starts all over again, lol

Congrats on your wife's 8 year card because I am getting tired of going to DMV every other year for an extension.

Great news guys. My husband's check is processing now according to my bank. It says it is by the Dallas center. So I guess his case got transferred over to Texas. 

 

The question now is how or when so we know our receipt number? 

 

Since we sent to Cali, we don't get an email or text confirmation. Plus with the check still being processed I don't think we can see the number on it...

11/03/2016: We had out interview in Los Angeles CA. Our IO said they don't normally approve on the spot anymore and she gave us a paper saying "your case is being held for interview". The IO also said she is new, therefore she need to talk to her supervisor. Additionally she showed us a pile of cases that is being held for review, so it looks like it will take a while to get an answer about our case.

11/07/2016: EAD card was mailed to me

11/09/2016: EAD card received. Applied for SSN, needs verification will take up to 4 weeks.

11/10/2016: went back to SSA office with my unexpired passport, got verified right away.

11/10/2016: SSN card received

12/28/2016: I-485 status updated to "New Card Being Produced",later in the day updated to "Case was approved"; I-130 status updated to "Case approved"

(1 month, 3 weeks & 4 days after the interview) & (5 months & 2 days after filing AOS)

1/03/2016: Receive I-797 approval letter for I-130 & I-485; status updated to "New Card Being Produced"

1/04/2016: Welcome letter received; status updated to "Card was Mailed"

1/06/2017: 2 year green card received :D
