It looks like the extra delay was in re-routing our packages.

Good morning everybody!

Our I-751 package was delivered to the Laguna Niguel, CA location on 08/17 and as of today, our check hasn't been cashed yet (will ask in the bank tomorrow, just to make sure), nor have we received our receipt.

Called to USCIS today, my call  was transferred to the officer. So, I was told that we should wait at least 60 days, a lot of delays, a lot of calls like mine everyday etc.

Anyway, glad to join this page and good luck to all !

Hello,

I sent my package to CSC on 8/15 it was delivered on 8/18 and today 9/24 they cashed my check in Dallas.

Yes their  so called 'help' after 30 days is to keep saying to wait more time. 60 days? That's really bad. Why dont they announce the delay on the USCIS website? A lot of people have their green cards expired already.. 🙁and they don't care.

Thanks for adding me to the list :) Yeah, it is weird that mine ended up there 😳 Though, I did get a confirmation text from USCIS with the receipt number also saying notice will follow in the mail

 I filed my I-751 on 8-29-2018. My conditional green card expired on 9-22-2018. I still haven't received NoA (I-797). My check has not been cashed yet. USCIS customer care told me to wait for 30 days, then they told me it can take 6 weeks to get NoA. I applied at CA service center. 

 

Looks like 'where to file I-751' has changed recently for CA residents. ?

 

Anybody who filed recently at CA USCIS center at Laguna Niguel, have you received NoA yet. If yes, how long after filing did the NoA (I-797c) arrive?

Hi, a lot of us CSC filers are on the same boat as you... Files sent, and still no word back from them. If you check out the most recent list, you'll see some of the CSC filers got their NOA1 approx. 1 month after filing date.

 

Based on posts from today and Friday to this thread, it looks like USCIS is sending some of our files over to other processing centers so they can take our money. We'll hear more from USCIS in the comings days or weeks. I wonder if it'll mean that whichever Center deposits our check will be our processing center, rather than CSC (like the September filers).

Hey worm, if you check this thread its been a bit of a rollercoaster for Aug filers and CSC. Looks like our cases got transfered after a delay. But someone here had their GC expire 4 weeks before they got their NOA. Though that is a bummer about the driver's license. The DMV gave my wife a 8-year card even though her GC expires in Nov. We left without asking questions. Ha.
