It was SRC, Texas.

And today btw they updated the status again, and now it "Case was approved".

So now the last part of this long process - waiting for the green card))))

Just got a case update today that card is being produced! We received an RFE in October from Potomac (transfered from California) and I sent the response on Dec 16. The case updated Dec 23 that they received response. So we got our approval ~10 business days after they got it.

Congrats! Great news! It seems, they send a LOT of RFE just because it was more then a year since we applied - because from us they asked just fresh pics and proofs.

Hello all,

Want to thank everyone here for all the support through our journey. My wife passed her citizenship interview this morning. Our journey started over 4 years ago with the fiancée Visa. We submitted our 10 years green card on August 2018, it got transfer a few times and our biometric was waved. After a year without an approval, we decided to do a combo with the help with others on this forum. After we receiving our case number online, we got an updated on our 10 years, stating that our case was transfer again. We received an date for the citizenships interview after 3 months of submitting the application. Just waiting for the date to get sworn in.

Hi everyone, I received a RFE on my I-751 like 2 months ago and due day is this month. Rfe only ask for deed and mortgage in both our name. I bought a house after we were married. The house deed and mortgage is on my name and it was my solo asset because I was the one who got the loan and making the monthly payments. My husband does not work because he can not speack english really well, so I am taking care of all our spent. I just want to protect myself. I have friend who's wife left him after getting 10 year card and get half of his asset like money and house everything but her wife did not contribute to their spent at all my friend paid everything. And I really do not this happen to me. So how can I proved the rfe when I do not have it. Thanks

Your justification to not add your husband to the property is exactly the reason USCIS might think your marriage is just a sham marriage to get a green card. I had bought my house before our marriage, but added my wife to the deed afterwards even though she didn't have any income at the time. Depending upon what state you are in and if it's a community property state or not, your husband could get half of your assets anyway whether or not he is on the deed.

I suppose you could respond to the RFE with a statement that he doesn't have an income, but it still doesn't answer the question why you bought it in only your name in the first place. It doesn't pass the smell test, sorry.

Folks - I am officially outside of normal processing timeline at Potomac Center. Refer my I751 timeline in signature below. I opened a Service Request yesterday and Officer told me to expect hearing back within 30 days.

Question - I am thinking to send a request of help to my congressperson. Do you think that will help? and what do I write in the message? The congressperson's doesn't allow to add attachments. I was thinking to send a screenshot of USCIS website showing case outside of normal processing timeline.

There are several reasons for this, workload balancing between offices. When you file the divorce waiver sometime they call for an interview. Did you receive the letter ? Did you get the status update in the USCIS webpage ?
