@SA, Texas Hi did you get  any message saying i-751 is sent to Lee Summit , NBC and then transferred to San Antonio (your field office) as well. Did you request for a combo interview? Please update on your case and the supporting documents uploaded

Few days after applying n400 I got letter states that your case has been transferred to NBC. NBC prepare cases for combo. I didn't request for anything. There a list on website for documents, and also you can upload unlimited documents, anything joint etc.

@monicat71 I am thinking of attaching a cover letter explaining that my 751 is pending and requesting a combo interview, looks like for some people they transfer and for some people they just conduct the N400 and make them wait for both 751 and N400. Looks like for you they have already transferred the 751 so that's good news. Also is it possible for you to post when your 751 was transferred to NBC,Lee Summit and when your local office received it, we can understand when to expect. Also what evidence did you upload please share. Can you upload any number of supporting documents to support your case, like copies of 3yr joint tax returns, lease/mortgage, can loan, joint account, insurance etc?  Thanks again for the info

I didn't get paper notification of it being at my local office, it just states it at the USCIS website.  I filed online and it basically tells you what documents they need from you.  The ones I added extra where proof of insurance, both health, and auto;  bank statements, lease, utility bills with our address, etc. Here are the timelines:

Yea of course. Our long distance started about 6 months prior to filing. All I was trying to do is to tell the story truthfully and honestly by showing how we are dealing with the long distance challenges and planning a life together when we are not able to share the same residence.

I wrote a one-page long cover letter to explain the living situation. In the letter I also mentioned that long distance is temporary due to new job offer and he is planning to move back. For every evidence that I sent, I made sure it covered the entire period from the start of marriage to present, as I read that the coverage for the entire time period is the key.

Here is what I sent:

 - All flight history (and future flight bookings) since the start of marriage. We travel a lot together, and then it became visiting each other after he moved, almost 1-2 times every month.

 - Emails/mails/wedding invitations/holiday cards from our family and friends that were addressed to both of us,  from the very start of the marriage to present.

 - Joint insurances for both our home that I live in now and the apartment he lives in and joint utility bills.

 - Joint car insurance past three years.

 - Joint fed and state tax returns past three years.

 - His spouse visa to my home country.

 - Joint dog adoption application and dog related expenses paid by either or both of us.

 - Dinner reservations we made for every year's birthday and anniversary.

 - Shared Amazon Prime membership and shared Netflix account (pretty weak but didn't hurt to add). I also printed out a ton of Amazon orders that shipped to our home address with his or my name on it.

 - Pictures that support everything that I have mentioned above (travel, friends wedding, family reunion, etc.), also covering the entire period of marriage.

I'm sure you are gonna have your own set of evidence but you just gonna be creative and send everything you have, and it should cover the entire period. Good luck!

What was the status before "Reopened"? Was it denied? Maybe someone put in an incorrect status at first?

there was no status before as our SRC number would say invalid before this new notice.

yes. i submitted aug 15 2018 to CSC (we are from florida); check was cashed in arizona about a month later then case was transferred to texas in october 2018. my SRC number never worked at egov.uscis tracker up until today. i was tracking our case via myaccount.uscis.gov which showed fingerprint fee received oct 2018. there was no update since then on that website.I got the 2 notices in the mail today. i thought it was an approval notice (wishful thinking haha) turns out to be a “reopening” notice and a biometrics appointment. i dont understand the “reopening” part. i never got notice that our case was approved or any other notice. i just saw the “approval” on the case history. if you look at the dates, it doesnt make sense. on 9/25 they said they are reconsidering their decision then on 9/26 it says approved but the main page says 9/26 case is reopened. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

you should give them a call just to check why all these different status and it does not make any sense that "reopened" since your case had not been denied or anything else. it may be they updated it wrong.
