So you were transferred from California to Texas and they changed your case # ? We were told that our case # would stay the same. We were at California and now at Potomac.

I would recommend going to an Infopass appointment at your local USCIS office with a copy of your application folder and the NOA, and getting a stamp on her passport (I551 temp stamp) just in case.

I sent my case originally to California Service Center, it went to Arizona to cash the check and then it went to Nebraska Service Center - my case number starts with LIN.

As a side note, while waiting for the progress on my application, I have been travelling constantly to overseas, Canada, Europe, Turkey (both work and personal) and I have not had any issues with regards to my entrance back to US.

I have the I551 temporary stamp in my passport. But I always carry my copy of the application folder with me.

Thanks for the advice. Called this morning, and we should get a callback to make an appointment by mid-week. Fingers crossed that they don't make us pay the I-90 fee in order to get a stamp. Looking more and more likely that the card is lost to the wind.

Texas seems to be slower than Nebraska. I am at Nebraska and a very similar timeline. All the cases around my receipt number are still pending except for two (checked 500). It’ll still be a while

I just received a biometrics appointment letter after a year of waiting and unfortunately need to reschedule Of all the days I've been in the area, it's the week we'll be in a different city.

Anyone else on the same boat as me? It seems the only way to ask for reschedule is thru mailing back the original letter and checking that box (keeping a photocopy of the letter). I'm just worried this will further delay the processing when it already is.

Just do a walk in. That’s what I and several others have done
