It appears to me that the process gets easier as you get closer to naturalization...😁

Definitely. I just read the N-400 instructions and it seemed pretty straightforward. It asks for 5 years of history - address, employment/education etc.

The only question that we weren't entirely sure about was - "List all trips of 24 hours or longer than you have taken outside the US during the last 5 years". Luckily, I had saved all the dates we traveled because I remembered they ask for the exact dates. However, it asks for last 5 years even though we are applying based on the 3 year rule for marriage-based naturalization. My wife hadn't been to the US before she came here on the CR1 green card, so we debated whether to skip everything before that, or to list the dates from her birth to arriving in the US as being outside the country and hope the person looking at it understands. A quick Google search showed that people have done both in the past and I'm leaning towards the latter.

When are you filling? I'm planning on filling next month!

Yes! I am filing tomorrow!! I am finishing uploading evidence files today and then my application will be ready for tomorrow!  I know it may delay my ROC, but it also may not... The truth is that everybody has different results no mater the day they filed.  I have read that is good to attach a cover letter asking them to adjudicate both i-751 and N-400 together.  I really don't need my physical 10 year green card right now... My only drag is that I will have to schedule an infopass appointment for my kids to get another stamp on their passports in November, but other than that, I am fine waiting a few more months to get my final decision.  That is, because naturalization is my goal.  Good luck everyone!

I have been flowing this group too:

I gave them all my travel dates since I moved to the US, because I moved here before I got married, so it goes longer than 3 years but not 5.  Good luck!

What service center were you? Anxious SRC (Texas) filer first week of September, and wife may have lost green card when we're supposed to leave on a long overseas trip next month. Eep!

I have a very similar timeline as yours. I originally sent my case to the California service center but it was transferred to Texas so I have an SRC case number. Was your case transferred as well?
