I had the same problem and error saying 'no appointments at this moment', but USCIS don't tell you is that they open their window for appointments right after midnight and by 7 or 8 in the morning no dates are available. I just made my husband's appointment today at 12:05 AM ET and gave me two options to choose.

Hoping this help.

Yes. The USCIS officer will place a temporary I-555 stamp in the permanent resident's passport. Of course, gather all the documentation about your case (copies of what mailed to them) and expired GC, license, government ID's, etc. or any confirmation to prove that you have sent out your application on time (90 days window). I have a closer friend who did this and my husband is also going to get this stamp for his passport without NO1. He works at the JFK AIRPORT and his government ID is expiring the same date as GC and needs it to renewal.

Copies are good. USCIS officer will be able to check if the petition has already been received and feed in the system.

Hi everyone,

I filed my i751 divorce waiver packet on July 30th and it was received by USCIS CSC on August 01, 2018. I am still waiting to receive my NOA 797 as it has been more than 3 weeks already. My question is

  • Is someone having the same kind of delay or is it normal?
  • My green card expired on August 13, 2018, and have no proof of status right now apart from the sent packet, is that OK or what should I do? Should I wait for another week or two before calling USCIS?

Your responses would be highly appreciated, thanks!

Hello!

There is a user on the July 2018 thread that is also a divorce filer to CSC, and she is going through an extra long wait. I think her username is Marianne.

I am preparing mine as we speak.  Might not go out until closer to September but meh.  Getting proper hard copies of our employment insurance benefit policies is proving more difficult than I thought it would be.  Everything is done online now and I can't find anywhere on the websites (my employer's or his) that will give me a printable version with all of the information I need.

We sent our I -751 Saturday 8/18/18, it was received signature requested at CSC today 8/23/18. Does anyone now about when we should expect the NOA1? Also I've been hearing there is quite a long wait for approval's from time of filing. How long have I-751 approvals been taking?
