Date Received by Lockbox: 08-10-18

Date Check was cashed (By Phoenix): 09-24-18

I called USCIS today (10-10-18) since it has been over two weeks since my check was cashed. I was able to obtain a receipt number and attached is what it looks like when I checked the status. Apparently, my NOA was initially mailed out 09-21-18, and they did have the correct address, but somehow I never received it. Since it's been over 10 business days, the representative filed a service request for my NOA to be sent out again (I verified my address 500  times just to be sure 😂). He told me that if I don't receive it after 30 days to call them back and check with the ticket number he provided. My petition was apparently part of a delayed batch. So if you have not received your NOA and they have cashed your check a few weeks back, it might be worth calling them. I will give them a call after 3 weeks if I have not received it just so I can check on the status since my Green Card expires early November.

Mine was received on 8/15. Check cashed 9/26.

We called them the first time. The lady on the phone wasn’t very helpful and told us she can’t look up anything for us. She told us to look for receipt number on check being cashed. Problem is, check was cashed via third party agency and what was sent to bank was an electronics payment so no check image. Called again, got a nicer guy willing to help, gave us our receipt number (srcxxxxx) which is Texas. Our check was cashed by Phoenix so it a bit strange. Was told to wait out for the rest of this week, if it doesn’t arrive, call back and they will request resend just like above. Tried getting an infopass appointment but that is non existent. I pray it make it here! Has anyone with check cashed around 9/24+ had their NOA?

Hi all,  still no NOA for my case either, my status says Fingerprint fee received on Sept 25th and a notice was mailed. Just wanted to share, I went to the USCIS Field office instead to get my stamp as I have to travel overseas for work soon. This was the second time I went there without any appointments for a stamp which was much faster than the first.  (first was USPS lost my GC in transit and I got a new job in 2017, went mid-day). If you can't get an appointment, I would recommend going to their office as early as possible, more likely to wait less time. I was there at 7am with others without any appts as well and someone came to ask each of our reason. Then they let us in to the waiting room.  I brought all the documents I can think of but they asked me for my GC, passport, and receipt number. After two fingerprints and a photo, I was given the 1 year I-551 stamp.

Good luck everyone!

That's great. I'll try doing that next week. Did they ask you to pay for the I-551 Stamp?

This is very strange that nobody has received NOA lately. I wonder if they are transferring cases again.

Good question.

I'm waiting for couple more days and will start calling again, its gonna be 2 month already. It took them 1.5 month to cash the check - in another state. So... just interesting how long will it take to get a HOA.
