You’ll likely come in at the very end of October, or the beginning of November. My case should close next week and I’m just accepting that it’s going to be November before we get ours. Who knows though, they could open up more slots to make up for the vacations and we could get super lucky. :):)

Hoping for luck for the both of us then! keep me updated on how yours progresses! :) Good luck

Hi everyone,

Im not sure if this is the appropriate forum for this question, but does anyone have experience going through immigration in Fort Lauderdale, Florida? I've heard from someone that they're exceptionally rude and that the process can take up to 6 hours. Has anyone been through this or does anyone know someone that has? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Im a US citizen and FT lauderdale immigration has by far the longest lines if you arrive at the wrong time. I waited for almost 3 hours one time. Miami is a long wait as well sometimes. There is a high volume of people who fly in. I can't speak to what the process is like in Ft. Lauderdale for non-citizens or prospective residents. I don't think they are rude, I just think they are understaffed and have a huge workload. Try flying in during off hours. Most of the Europe flights pour out from 3:00-6:00 so those hours are worst. Mornings usually aren't to bad. Hope this helps.

Yes, God is good! We are praying and trusting that he brings us through this long process and that we finish SOON! So close and yet still waiting. Hoping for CC this week :) Best of luck and prayers to you!
