@Abies and all the wonderful people out here who have been supporting each other, I am delighted to let you all know that just yesterday we got our welcome letter with the case number and the invoice I'd. It took exactly one month from when NVC received our case from USCIS.

All the best to everyone who is patiently waiting...

Wow.. Congratulations...

This was really  quick one. No wonder NVC took you guys unaware lol.

Smooth and speedy NVC process to you buddy.

Also received NVC case number. It took 8 weeks from USCIS approval. Really hoping it wont take NVC 4 months for approval like it is stated here in processig time. 🕵️‍♂️

Congratulations on your case number. Mine took 8 weeks too.

I see Montreal is taking long to book interviews, hope the waiting time gets better and you do not have to wait to long.

Thanks! Oh have they been taking long? I haven't really found a lot of info on this, can you tell me more? Hoping for the best haha.

I am collecting both financial and civil documents. Is it a good idea to upload all of them together or upload as they become available? Secondly, I checked the U.S. embassy's website (https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/iv-dv-supplemental/ISL_Islamabad.pdf) and it says that police reports aren't needed. Anyone from Pakistan can give their input about this?

Thanks

Hello,

I have been looking for you to try and find where I read the comments on the interview wait times for the Montreal Consulate. You might have tried this already, but if you click on the Canadian flag under Canada it will give you different topics and quick links you can choose from. At the time I was reading this info I think it was under Recent or Hot topics. There is still some information there but you might have to do a search at the top of the page beside, sign up. If there is anyone else that can provide information on Montreal Consulate interview wait times it would really help. I think 1 reason is CC’s were or are getting backed up for booking interviews because of employees were taking holidays. Honestly, I have read so much about this process I have to force myself to take a break sometimes. I will continue looking though.

Montreal is backed up currently with folks having taken vacations. The average wait time for an interview is now around 2.5 compared to just under 2 months previously. There are still folks waiting from mid-July CC on interviews. They’ll be interviewing in October as all September dates have been issued.
