So that the whole process isn't stressful enough, I just got a job offer for basically my dream job! Only thing is that I need to be in USA latest 2nd of November. Still in the process uploading all documents for NVC and then waiting for the CC. I am sooo happy for the job offer and so nervous I won't get the GC before end of October.

Having a job offer might be grounds to expedite your interview at the consulate. Have you considered making an expedite request?

4 more months and my priority date. Dec 21st. Will my case be over all this process before this date? I mean 2 months just for a number then to upload whatever forms and wait for an interviews seems like it will take more than 4 months at this rate. Smh

@redvines, how are you going? Any updates? We just submitted all our documents yesterday and now hoping for a speedy CC! I know you’re just ahead of me in this process so I’ll be looking to you for recent Sydney processing times! :)

I know its hard, but try not to dwell on it too much. There's nothing you can do and it is out of your hands, so please don't worry over things that cannot be changed. I called up NVC a month after i received my NOA2 as i hadn't heard anything and the lady on the phone told me that it had been received two weeks before and I had to wait patiently for my NVC case number and to prepare for up to an eight week wait. I was upset. But, that same day, just before midnight, we got our case number and email notification. I'm sure yours wont be the maximum time limit.

I understand, i dislike where i live! I hate my job, i hate the town i live in and i have moved back in with my parents and my relationship with my parents is very strained. It is difficult, but we are almost there! We have waited this long, the worst part is over. We got this!

So we called the NVC right now... and basically we should ignore this email for today and wait till something changes on CEAC next week..
Would have been too nice to have a CC after only 3 hours ;)
