No, I did not. When I logged into the CEAC website, they only had my lawyer’s email listed. Had I not called, I wouldn’t have known our number was ready. We used a lawyer for the USCIS portion of things and decided to do this part on our own since it wasn’t quite as complex and overwhelming.

Same with me, I had a lawyer for USCIS and will not be using one for the NVC. How did you remove the lawyer? Over the phone?

You can change the email address over the phone with the NVC. The lady told me since I already had my invoice number to just chose myself as the main contact person after paying my fees and add my email to the list of contacts.

Head of Household can only be filed by those who own a house right?

Not correct, it can be filed by anyone who has a qualify dependents.
