Just had a thought... I have just submitted all my civil documents on CEAC and was wondering are the passport photos that I used (UK) acceptable for the NVC? 

 

Obviously I will need the US sized (2"x2") for the Embassy.

You need to call the NVC and ask.

we called. of course they do not have our documents still. I do not know if need to call every day. I thought I can just check they got our documents and we can call and ask our number

on new site it is 08/01. on paper - 07/31

I noticed you are applying for a K1 visa... this thread is for IR1-CR1 and not K1 so different rules apply.

I did so many times. They only said I just have to wait. They did not even review my document yet as I asked.

That’s insane ! I can’t believe it and I’m so sorry to hear. I don’t know what could possibly be taking them so long to review them. I have seen it takes about 2 weeks according to other VJ members. 

I’d suggest you to keep calling and wish you all the best
