Hi everyone,

Are interviews really only scheduled at the end of each month? What is considered the end of the month? I'm waiting for my case to be CC. We had to replace some documents ..we did and the next day I got an email from nvc haha we forgot to click on submit🙈. So I'm hoping on Monday  we get cc.

Hello @Abies

Good night to everyone,

I have a question. Our case is non-pivot.
Do we need to send passport photo to NVC

If "Yes". Photos from both Petitioner and beneficiary?
TIA.

No but a copy of your passport bio data page

Most times the NVC schedules visa interviews by the end and beginning of every month but it all depends on when local embassy sends NVC their available slots.

Does anyone know if there will be an update on the new website once USCIS sends the case to the NVC? Or how long this usually takes for NVC to receive your case?

Usually you get a notification via the USCIS app that your case has been sent to the Dept Of State(NVC) which can take anywhere from 3-5days depending on your service centre.

You can call NVC 10days after the notification to know if they have received your approved petition from USCIS and when it was received.

Speedy NVC process to you.

Hello again!! I'm not sure if you guys already know this.. but you can check and see the available interview dates on your embassy's website. My embassy is in Khartoum. They have a link that takes you to available appointments. You have to key in the 10 digits on your confirmed DS-260 form and you'll see the dates.

So I'm starting to get everything together for our interview, and I had a couple questions:

Do we need to bring copies of everything we submitted to the NVC (e.g. tax transcripts, letter about domicile, etc.) or just the things on the Embassy's checklist?

Regarding proof of relationship, we've lived together here in Israel for years, so what kind of evidence do I need in that case - are pictures enough, or should we also bring proof of joint bank account, plane tickets from vacations, etc.?

Thanks!

You have  to take all original copy of everything u submitted to nvc to ur interview.

Pictures are not enough proof, u have to take proof of joint bank account, plane tickets from vacations, receipt and proof of any other things that both of ur names are in. Good luck.

You are welcome, is better to have a enough proof to be on a safer side, than not bring enough to get DENIED, the journey is too stressful for one not to get approval at the end.

Bring all required documents listed on your  pre-interview checklist of your P4 letter.

Primary evidence in your case will be your Israeli proof of domicile(lots of face time)which you have already established by cohabitation for years now.

Other supporting documents like Birth cert of any child born into the marriage will be of advantage to you guys.

Best wishes.

Great, thank you! I was a little confused because the checklist is a little vague - for instance it says to bring the I-864, but doesn't say if I should bring the supporting evidence for it (tax transcripts, etc.). I'll probably just include it all to be on the safe side!

My checklist was very specific though.

Anyways,I864 & IRS are both financial documents. Please go with both financial documents to avoid any delay in your visa issuance.

Will be patiently waiting to read your consulate review of approval.

Best of luck..
