Great advice! Glad you finally got everything accepted.

I'm fully expecting them to reject my I-864 because I had to submit it in (2) PDFs due to file size after compression (I tried, I tried, trust me)... I understand CEAC is supposed to be faster, but it doesn't mean it's not frustratingly particular :)

Oh yes, I know all about compressing documents larger than letter size, and thanks so much!

What I've done for my hubby's documents that were a little bit bigger than legal size, I used an app on my phone called CamScanner. It's free and with the app, you just take a full picture of the document on a table (make sure there's no glare from the light) and it will automatically crop the document and allow you to adjust the color and sharpen the image. Then I emailed it as a pdf to myself using the same app. Downloaded it and uploaded on the site. but you never know. Let's just think positively and hope they accept your stuff as long as all the info is there! :-)

Yes, I've used that for documents before and probably should have used it for my I-864 instead of scanning it to PDF. So irritated, but it's uploaded and submitted, so if they give us a checklist, I'll try again...that's life. =/

Hoping everything else goes quickly for you!

Start calling! I felt the same as you, but to my surprise, I got a case number by email today, and NVC received my case on July 17th! When I called them after they received it using option 7, they told me to call back and choose option 5 because my case is electronic. They should know at this point. Good luck to you and everyone else on here! :)

Thank you so much for the positivity

I called them up today but was asked to wait as the case number is still to be figured out for us. I guess will keep holding on for a bit.

Congrats to you...hope it all speeds up now for you. Good luck and keep us posted

Thanks alot and Congratulations to you too. Try calling NVC to be sure if India has also been converted to pivot since some non pivot cases were converted some few weeks back then we take it from there.

Speedy NVC process.

Thank you.

I did speak with one of the customer reps today. They aren't being clear on whether India is pivot or non pivot. All they say is, we shall know when the case number is assigned, so no clarity on that one as yet. I am holding on to every bit of positivity, it's been a very long wait, first USCIS and now NVC

Fingers crossed. Will keep you posted.

All the very best once again. Stay blessed.

My case is also India. They took about 9 weeks to generate my case number. So far, the processing happens through snail mail. I sent my AOS and IV documents and NVC received it today. Waiting for them to complete my case and schedule an interview ASAP.

9 weeks to generate just a case number is so inhuman. Well can do nothing but wait.

Neways thanks for the help and all the very best for the last leg of this long ride. Hope you get it done with soon!

Good day everyone, @Abies

We already pay the affidavit of support. And today on the #caec  web site it says paid.

What next?

Do we have to wait for NVC to review the choice of the agent or we have to call them for the next step.

Any tip will be very helpfull.

TIA.
