When did you scan your documents? How long did it take for you to get cc? Is your case pivot?

India is non pivot country. I had submitted my documents to NVC 7/24 and NVC scanned them on 7/27. From scan date to cc took 5 business days.

Delayed response, but I also filed an extension for 2017 (we do have a co-sponsor), and I just provided the extension approval + the transcripts for the two previous years. It was fine, but they asked that we bring the 2017 return + W2 to the interview, so be prepared for that possibility. There are some threads on this topic if you search for them.

@catdk did you get interview date?

August 2

It's still too early to start calling NVC if they have received your approved petition from USCIS.

Although it takes NVC 4- 14days to receive your approved petition from USCIS after the app notifies you(depending on your service centre).

I will advise you call NVC by Friday to know if they have received it and when they received it.

I am also sending the same documents lie you did. I also sent the W2 as well. That means we have to file the tax before the interview? Actually I am waiting for my wife to come to the US and get a SSN so that I can file as a "married".

You can file your tax as married without having your wife SSN's.

Since this topic is bought up, I have a question as well I realized I made a mistake by filing Joint return with ITIN application however ITIN was rejected upon not having original passport as proof, I still have not received my returns yet but I am not sure how to handle this situation.

I forwarded embassy certified passport copy for my wife's ITIN. It got approved. If it gets rejected for some reason they will re correct the filing and send you the portion of your money (- your spouse portion of claim) .

and once I am at a stage to submit Tax returns to NVC , would they understand if I said that ?

I guess you can send W2 plus IRS rejection letter for ITIN. I would rather call IRS and complete the overall tax process.
