Hi, just wondering if other PIVOT users could clarify if they followed NVC naming conventions when uploading documents? Would not naming correctly cause a submission error? Devil's in the details...

Funny how this page is nowhere to be found on CEAC under any of the instructions or help links...

Just a question regarding filling in DS-260. My present address is in New Zealand (because of work), but I don't have residency here and its just temporary (I will leave in October). My official residency is still in Estonia, with my interview taking place there etc. I'm just afraid that when I write that my present address is in New Zealand then for whatever reason they want to change embassy etc also to New Zealand.

And with the rest of addresses, does anyone know what is meant as "established a residence"? 2016 I spent a year in New Zealand and changed my place of living every 3-4 months. Not sure if I have to include all or not.

I think you should include all addresses you lived even for months. Later they can find out from your passport visa stamps.which might cause chaos. This is my personal opinion thou.

They told me you don't need to do this. I was told to just give a descriptive name about the document. You could put beneficiary or petitioner for things that could come from either, like birth certificates. Examples: 2017 IRS Tax Transcript, I864 Part 1 of 3, Birth Certificate Applicant, Passport Biographic Data Page Applicant. Approved after a normal amount of time with no checklist. Good luck!

Ok, really? I hope that's true. I called to ask last night and got an unhelpful rep who just told me to wait for them to review and they'll tell me. =/ I just named things as I usually do, last names and a small description, and when you upload through CEAC it's already IN your case and categorized by type of document. Just dreading getting a checklist for such a small thing.

I haven't heard of anyone getting a checklist for this reason. I really think you will be fine. It is very clear what is what since you classify the document type. Good luck!
