I'm just outside London so not too bad for me, just have to deal with the commuters! :dead:

That's lucky!

If you see a tired, dishelved looking girl in her early thirties, with a thick country accent, That's me! Haha

Both, my visa status check shows "At NVC" then my wife called and they confirmed verbally on the phone.

I just called NVC to check on how things are going. I spoke to two very nice people, which was good!

They said that we are currently in line for an interview, at this moment in time there are no interviews. They have to wait for London to let them know how many interview slots they have available for November/December/possibly even january and there is probably loads of people ahead of us waiting for one. So I guess that even though we had case complete on August 31st, we missed the September and October interview slots. I was hopeful it would be October at the very least, but that's out the window now!

I'm not sure what time of the month the embassy informs the NVC of free interview slots. But I guess we just missed it. This sucks so bad. I'm really disappointed. It feels like one thing after another with this process.

It really is a 12 month process. I thought ours was quite speedy up until now.

I would take that info with a pinch of salt, after all it isn't the NVC that gives the interview dates it's the Embassy in London... Let's just wait and see, I think we will get our dates near the end of September as I have been told it's normally the last week of the month that they allocate.

I thought this too but then I just read in a different chat that they were assigned October 24th and that was the earliest they had.

Ok, cool, wasn't sure what time of the month it was so thats helpful thanks

Let's just wait and see, once the medical is done then there really isn't much more we can do.... Everything will be ready, I'm sure it will be either late October or early November.

Also, the date of October 24th you were looking at in the "UK" section on here was for a K1 visa and not a IR1 - CR1... I may be wrong but I think they have different timescales as the K1 visa is more common in London.

Yes i think it was but I figured appointments for both would still be the same amount per month.

Looking at the stats for London most interview dates were received between 12th and 29th of the month so that's given me some hope now.

Hi Keeley,  I think we have the same document submission date (Aug 23).  Just wanted to let you know I got CC yesterday.   Got an email from NVC and then about an hour later CEAC changed status to “at NVC.”

Thought you might find that helpful for knowing when you might get CC.  You’re next!

thank you, but what do you mean by 'not pivot'?

Not Pivot= no electronic process we need to send everything by mail, the only thing we did online was DS-260

There are case were everything is submitted online and is a lot faster to get NVC case #, complete case CC, and interview date.

Good luck!

Thank you so much.

Now to wait 8 weeks geez just to get case number.

I just wish that my partner can be here for holidays. This year has been hard. Living in Mexico in the most violent city is the worst.

They are moving much faster than that

They had told me 8 weeks and received my letter after 3 weeks and 3 days.  Hopefully the same for you
