Hi guys!   I’ve got interview date !!! September 17th Bogota, Colombia  7 days after CC !! Happy! But I also got my heart out of my chest from excitement!!! 😅

That's true! 

It costs me so much to call! And most of it is waiting in a queue for someone to become available 😂 I'll leave it a week and then see how I feel. 

More waiting in limbo for now! 

I've seen your posts today :( I know it's disheartening but it will be this week for sure! It's labor Day delaying everything!

I hope so, the stress of this is literally making me sick -_-

No, I didn't think you could book the medical before you get the interview schedule letter as you have to take that to the medical with you?

 

Ah no, don't say that! It's so close now! From the previous timelines I have seen, I'm sure we will be having our interview around the same time!

Ah no, don't say that! It's so close now! From the previous timelines I have seen, I'm sure we will be having our interview around the same time! 

Yes, you will need the letter at the medical however to book it they only ask if you have it... seeing as the medicals are taking ages (longer to schedule than the interview) I will be booking my medical as soon as I get a CC, the last thing I want is my medical results not turning up to the embassy in time adding an extra 3 weeks on to this long and stressful journey (I have seen this happen recently) 

 

Fingers crossed, I had hoped to get home before the end of next month.

Ok, thanks for letting me know I will call them and book one asap! Do you know if you have to pay for the medical over the phone when booking? Just incase I did have to change if I didn't have the letter by the medical date! 

 

That is still possible! It's still only the first week of September!

That I don't know.... they wont charge you to move an appointment as long as you give enough notice, they will definitely charge you if you don't turn up.

I actually submitted on Sept 1..rather my layer did. But i got an email yesterday saying they want me to resubmit 2 documents because of the view. So they looked at my papers pretty fast! I hope once i resubmit they do the same..any others go through this with resubmit?

16-Jul-2018 (+18 days, 231 days) - Petition sent to Department of State

23-Jul-2018 (+7 days, 238 days) - Petition received by NVC (confirmed via phone on 24 July)
21-Aug-2018 (+29 days, 267 days) - Welcome Letter received by email, paid AOS and IV fee

23-Aug-2018 (+2 days, 269 days) - IV Application (Form DS-260), Civil Documents, Affidavit of Support, and Financial Documents all submitted to NVC on CEAC

7-Sep-2018 (+15 days, 284 days) - NVC Case Complete

18-9-2018 (+11 days, 295 days) - Interview scheduled, received notification from NVC via email - interview set for 16 October

16-10-2018 (+28 days, 323 days) - Interview - visa approved!

18-10-2018 (+2 days, 325 days) - Passport and visa received by AusPost Express Platinum

My husband called and made the medical appointment prior to the CC, as the medicals are booking quite a ways out.  You do need the letter of CC, so as long as you get that before you go, you should be fine.  We paid for the medical at the end of the appointment in London.  Hope this helps
