Hi Guys

Got my Case number and invoice number today via email. Need some help.

  1. So the first step is to pay both fees?
  2.  NVC mention my wife sir name spell wrong so to correct should I have to call NVC?
  3. My wife ( Petitioner) moved and change her job and apartment in Aug-18 should we call NVC for the change of address before submitting the fee and AOS and DS-260 or after submitting.

Thanks

Call nvc to correct the name.

If it's pivot(electronic processing),go ahead and pay both fees but If it's non pivot, fill out your ds261 and call nvc to review it with you over the phone so you can pay both fees asap

I also have similar dates to yours! Its given me hope!

My docs were submitted the day before yours, fingers crossed everything is OK and no re-submissions needed!

I'm hoping for a CC on Friday as this Monday is Labor Day and I'm guessing the NVC will be shut this Monday?!

Yes! I'm confident it will be Tuesday/Wednesday, just because of the weekend and Labor day it will be closed.

I have read that re-submission's make for a faster case complete. I have a feeling I will need to resubmit some stuff. Haha!

I am like a cat on a hot tin roof this week. Despite the fact that this is the shortest wait out of the entire visa process!

I know what you mean, at every stage I have thought once this part is done I can relax.... however the truth is every stage is just as stressful as the last and I wont relax until I'm in the car at LAX driving home with my wife!

That's exactly how i feel! I have been picturing my husband picking me up at LAX and sighing with relief that its all done!

I will be fine once I get the interview date and the medical is booked. Its the unpredictable timelines of each process that get to me the most.

It will be soon, things are moving much faster now UK is pivot... like you say it's the not knowing, if I had an interview date it would definitely make things easier.

so i got an NVC checklist on August 17th asking for my wife's original BC and passport, which i sent back to them through my lawyer on Aug 21st, do you know how long the wait time will be? Is it going to be longer since it's a checklist?

Hi... I also received checklist on 17th Aug. We mailed the required documents on 18th and NVC received them on 23rd. Desperately waiting for CC. Not sure if the process will be faster or slower now... NVC is very unpredictable. Please tag me if there’s any update on your case since our dates are the same..Good luck..

For sure! From CC to getting interview its about a month and then interview is around another month after that.

So from CC around two months and that's it! It isn't really that long when its broken down like that.
