Question.

So after you get your CC email the NVC sends you another letter that you're in queue?

Well if thats the case I've only recieved the cc letter and been told verbally that im in queue

I didn't receive a second email after cc email. Only the interview email.

Yeah! Congrats, I am so happy for you. Your mother in law will hold on

Congratulations! You can also try writing to your consulate to politely ask if they can reschedule it for something earlier, now that you have officially been scheduled. You can attach the documentation about your mother in law. It doesn't hurt to try. Good luck and all the best to your family and mother in law.

Morning guys!

As some of you know I’ve got an interview for September as well (YAY)!

However im turning to you guys since my lawyer is on vacation and I need to prepare myself from NOW with all documents to bring to the interview.

Despite her being on holidays, we emailed her asking what documents we need and she quickly responded with “original police certificates, birth and marriage certificates” ..

my question is : What original documents do I need from my husband ? I’m asking this regarding documents in the AOS package.

Thank you in advance

You need to bring originals of everything you submitted to NVC, and some other things too like proof of relationship and USC's US domicile, and probably some photocopies (well my consulate requires that). I have found this page very helpful. You can find the directions for your consulate. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/list-of-posts.html

Your consulate might also have a list of what is needed on its website if you want to check that as well to be extra sure.

Good luck!
