Hey Abies, i checked the available interview appointments in my embassy's website and i can see they have quite a number that's available from end of August and also a fairly good number of available appointments in september,is that what the NVC will be given? I'm expecting my case to be cc next week. (Pivot case)

How do you check that?

You can find it on your embassy's website. There is a link that takes you to a page that has the available appointments. You need the 10 digits at the bottom of your confirmed DS-260 form. You will find it in DS-260 confirmation email NVC sent you.

After the consular officer administers the oath, you have no choice but to tell the whole truth to any question you are been asked.

Congratulations in advance.

Thank you Abies. You are very helpful as always)

Booking a flight ticket back to Khartoum after getting your interview date is fine since Khartoum is where your visa interview will be conducted.

Don't forget to get a police character cert from Brunei if you have been there for up to 6months.

I grew up here..so i got one and sent it to the NVC with my civil documents. Tanx for the reminder :)

I have no idea.. and feels like there would be no use.. as interview will be on date given by our embassy to nvc no matter what slots they have.

But no harm in trying :)

I tried doing it but didn't find any link that shows interview slots. I'll just wait for tomorrow. 😊

Thanks!i was under impression they send a paper notice and you take that to the interview. I just hope printing email would be enough

We didn't get any physical letter neither. You just have to print out your email with the interview date. It will be enough as I understood

Absolutely.. It only makes you have an idea of the availabilityof slots your embassy has but you can schedule your appointment on your own unless nvc does so.
