Hey Abies, i checked the available interview appointments in my embassy's website and i can see they have quite a number that's available from end of August and also a fairly good number of available appointments in september,is that what the NVC will be given? I'm expecting my case to be cc next week. (Pivot case)

Khartoum(Sudan) Consulate is not a busy embassy so you should be hopeful for a Sept date anytime your local embassy sends NVC their available slots.

I hope this really helps..

It does! Thank you so much again Abies!!❤.. thing is I'm not in khartoum these days, I'm in Brunei visiting my parents and my plan was to book my return ticket after i get an interview date. I don't know if it's a good idea or leave book a return ticket for the end of this month.

just hold on to your bookings first and wait for your interview appointment letter

How do you check that?

You can find it on your embassy's website. There is a link that takes you to a page that has the available appointments. You need the 10 digits at the bottom of your confirmed DS-260 form. You will find it in DS-260 confirmation email NVC sent you.

Hey guys, my husband has his interview on August 15th and neither one of us has received the interview letter yet. Has anyone attended the interview without the letter? He is going to printout the email for the interview date but I am stressed what if it isn’t enough 😫

Booking a flight ticket back to Khartoum after getting your interview date is fine since Khartoum is where your visa interview will be conducted.

Don't forget to get a police character cert from Brunei if you have been there for up to 6months.

I got the email. It’s the paper notice we are waiting on

Lol.. NVC sends all correspondence via email. He needs to print out a copy of the Interview letter you both received via email and take that to the embassy for his interview.

Congratulations in advance.

I will. The time frame was short between the date they scheduled the interview and the day of the interview. We received the interview email on 7/24 and the interviews on 8/15. It takes them time to send the damn letter in snail mail..Now I wish we had a later date for interview.😒
