Interview in Rio has been scheduled for August 27! Scheduling was a bit weird because it was first forwarded to the consulate and then scheduled by them (not NVC) at the consulate's request, as there were August appointments open still and my cc was almost a month ago. I assume the September Brazil CR1/IR1 interviews will be scheduled very soon now by NVC. Good luck!

So fingerprinting appointment done today in ciudad juarez... It was very quick and went smoothly! All that was asked was to show them the correct paperwork and passport info. In out and done! This has been such a long and exhausting and stressful and depressing experience but thank God for being with us the whole time! Now im just dealing with excited nervousness about tomorrow! Please be in prayer with is about the BIG DAY! Praying we get there approval and my husband gets to go home and that all of it be to God's glory!!!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I know how it feels, anxiety has started to set in but you know what? God has our backs.

Did your status on CEAC site change from "At Nvc" to "In Transit" Before you got your interview date @Abies

In Transit simply means your case is on its way to the USEM in the country where your visa interview will be conducted while Ready means the USEM in the country where your visa interview will be conducted has received it.

I hope this helps?

You are always welcome.

And when it changes to ready, try to schedule your medicals not later than 3weeks before your interview to avoid some unforseen delays since it takes 14 calendar days to get the medicals from the approved clinics after it has been done.

Might be Montreal specific but that’s what I was told.

Your us consulate is Montreal right?

It's good to know they still have September open. Hopefully we all get our dates for September. I would call them today and see what they say.

Thanks for the update. Did you get your interview date today?

The reason I ask is because last month Canada received interview dates the day after Rio did

Do i need to call Q-life to schedule my medicals, have you scheduled ur medicals already,if you have, how did you scheduled ur medicals??
Do i need to wait for NVC to send all my doc to Lagos consulate(and wait for CEAC site to say "Ready") before i can schedule my medicals
