Just want to update anyone who is waiting for cdj appointment. My husband went yesterday for his  medical appointment. It cost him $416 for the exam plus three shots. He also called them to make an appointment. Ppl say you don't have to have an appointment but I think it makes things go quicker if you do. He said they also asked him alot of questions like how many times he had been to the US... How many times he had been arrested.... How many deportations... Like a pre-interview. He was told he needed to be honest with them because it all had to be reported to the consulate and if he lies that he would be automatically denied.

Just want to let people know how it all works so everyone kind of knows what to expect.

Praying for you all to get appointments soon! Please be in prayer with us that my husband is able to get approved at the consulate Thursday!!! Have a blessed day!

seriously can any nigerian comfirm this who have gone for a medical examination already

Thanks! I had the medical exam in BC with Dr. Cheema. When I got there, I gave them the interview letter and my vaccine records and we discussed which ones I would need and how much they were. After, a nurse weighed me and took my height and then I saw Dr. Cheema for about 10 minutes. He checked blood pressure, eyesight, abdomen and asked a bunch of medical history questions. It was pretty quick and to be honest, he seemed more interested in where I got the training to do my job than anything else lol.

Thank you and congrats to you guys too! Sorry to hear they made it tough. Hopefully it will just take a few days to get our passports back! What time were you there?

We were there before 9am. We were #13. What was your number?

You're welcome 😊 I forgot to mention, I had to go to a separate lab to get blood work and xrays done. It's very straightforward and both are in the same building, it can just be a bit of a wait.

I was number 6 and was there from 7.30-9.20 ish. We were sitting in the same room and didn't even know it lol.

Did they ask your husband a lot of questions?
