Interview approved!! today - Rio de Janeiro consulate. I (petitioner) was able to attend along with wife (beneficiary). Very orderly, they triple checked the paperwork inside the consulate.

Congratulations! I was wondering how long they say it will take to get the visa, if you pick it up in Rio opposed to having it mailed. Good luck with your future in the US!

the lady told my wife we will have September appointment so I think we might have late September appointment.

I called NVC 3days after our case was completed and the rep told me she doesn't know how long but we are in line for an interview then 3days later,we scheduled for an interview.

Best of luck

They said it takes two weeks, but we didn't ask if they meant business days or actual days. We were a bit excited/nervous/ just wanting to get back to our cell phones to tell everyone. I'm hoping it comes before the end of next week, and I'll update here once we have it. We opted for SEDEX delivery. I didn't ask about picking it up as my wife lives in SP and I'm staying with her family until we head back to the U.S. together.  I saw some previous posts/reviews that said it took about 7 business days.

Just got email confirmation about cc. I saw few  people's got interview date after 2 and half months from cc in Dhaka embassy. So I am not expecting anything in September.

Congrats!

Any update from the NVC yet?

No.  CC I mentioned last time was false.  I don't know how I got that "at NVC" status.  I probably input in wrong case number or something.  What option for calling NVC to verify case complete?
