Venezuela!

Alright.. I hope President Trump's travel ban doesn't have any negative effect on visa applicants with strong family(immediate relatives) ties to the U.S.?

Nope! I am applying for an immigrant visa. Travel ban only affects nonimmigrant visa applicants, and, only if these applicants are family of someone related to Venezuelan Government.

My cc was on 28th July but haven't got any email.

You should get it within 7days after case complete but if you don't get it past 7days,guess what? It's mostly likely you have been scheduled for an interview.

So if by Monday you still haven't gotten the CC email,I will advice you call NVC on Tuesday.

Best of luck.

No, every embassy has a different schedule. I called nvc couple of day ago,  they told me that they are scheduling interviews for the month of September for Montreal. From the prediction, I was guessing that our interview appointments will be in the first or second week of October. But hope to get it sooner.
