Does all financial documents need to be original for Interview?? What are those please??

Nvc clearly states that any documents you uploaded to them, bring all the originals of those documents to ur interview.  They will view and compare them against what u uploaded to be sure they were not tampered with.

i was whit that female doctor time ago for my k1 visa application , and yes is terrible, she is rude and very sharp. ill undress happy in front docto roa jajajaj

Wow see!!! Ugh ! I really wanted to go with DR. Dennis, heard wonderful things about him, only thing was I called and the secretary told me “you need to book blood tests and then call us back and I’ll book u in” i went ahead and called the lab place and a very rude lady yelled through the phone : YOU JUST SHOW UP 7-10 AM WITH AN EMPTY STOMACH!!! So I went ahead called Dennis again and the lady insisted I must have a date from the lab test. So I said screw this and called Dr. Roa and the secretary was nice and very clear about everything. As soon as I hung up the phone I immediately received an email from them with all instructions. So yeah Dr. Roa will see my naked body and he better be quick and not sketchy 😂

Is it necessary to provide proof of US domicile?

My husband only uploaded scanned copy of Passport as a legal proof of a US Citizen.

Yes they asked frequently so bring any proof with you is a good idea.

Passport is not enough. You can bring recent bank statement with current transactions, recent letter delivered on petitioner address, driving license, employment letter or pay slip with recent dates on it. Basically they want to verify that petitioner permanently live in the US so any document of proof related to this will help.

Hi everyone. I am living abroad with my husband. I did his petition for a ir1 visa in the states while visiting. So I sent my original paperwork to uscis. Anyways my husband had his interview two days ago. He left with a piece of paper that said my domicile needed to be proven.

When I had sent my oringal paperwork I only included a copy of my passport. The officer said that I should have sent the petition from the country I’m living in currently. Any experience with this? He said get domicile proof and send via courier to embassy. He then told my husband that they will continue from where they left off. So another interview? What should I send? Will those papers go back to the Nvc? Should I expect a long process? Thanks everyone.

Again I’m looking for anyone who has had this or

something like this happen to tell me how long this usually takes. Like do the documents go back to the states or stay in the embassy. Will there be another interview?

Inshort you have to fly back to US (if you are currently not in US ) and have to provide proof of domicile. which can be any document that can prove that your permanent residence is US. Voter id, bank statement with recent transaction, property in US, Any letter received at your address and last but not least passport stamps with dates showing your recent entry in US.

Don't know you are LPR (Green card Holder) OR USC ?

There are two cases

If you are LPR (Green card holder) you can't stay more than 1 year outside of the US without special permission. If you stayed more than 1 year then you abandoned your green card status. You have to apply for SB-1 Visa and have to prove that stay outside of US in this period is beyond your control. Moreover, getting SB-1 visa is really difficult. (Thats why they are mainly ask to prove domicile).

If you are USC (US citizen) and currently you are not in US then you have to fly back to US and have to provide any relevant domicile proof. Actually these visa's are for families to live together in US if you are living abroad and calling your relatives to live in US making no sense to CO.

This is not long process you just send it to embessy as soon as they will get domicile proof they will approve the visa.No there will be no other interview.

Feel free to ask if you have any other question.

Hope this helps

Thank you! They never took his passport. I think he might have to go back though. I am a usc. They didn’t ask for his passport to be sent either.

Thanks alot dear. It will end in praise.

It takes 2weeks for collection but you can tell the hospital management that you will be picking it up on your interview eve to save cost.
