I was so worried last couple of weeks because I was not scheduled any interview time for my wife. First of it's a pivot case and most the cases in Bangladesh are non pivot, which was getting me worried because all non pivot cases were getting the interview before me even I had CC back in June. Finally received the interview date for SEPT 12. Thanks Allah that its finally getting closer. My patience being test through out the  process. Good Luck to everyone who will be attending interview and pray that rest will get their interview soon.

It depends on the embassy...but ours took 3 days after submission to CEAC, to change to "issued".

did you have to send anything to embassy as well?

now our lawyer is telling us to send originals of that to embassy along with refusal letter. now it's gonna take another 2 weeks. since original of that is in UK at this moment.

hope mine doesn't take that long to get approved but there's no progress till now we've uploaded docs few days ago. ceac documents status shows submitted .

No, the embassy just told us to email them after we uploaded everything to CEAC. They replied to the email just saying thank you & now they will review. Took 3 days to review & our status changed to issued. We only did what the embassy told us to do. Where did your lawyer get the info that you should mail originals?

3-16-18 Uploaded Civil Documents

3-21-18 Uploaded AOS Documents

Embassy told me to UPLOAD some documents on CEAC as they can't see it at there system, but documents were sent to ceac already that's how they gave me appointment date, right?.

there was a note at refusal letter under General Requirements: the following original items must be submitted while the ones with asteric* must be uploaded as well at CEAC.

there was no mention of submit to the embassy but we figured it could be for embassy as they mentioned separately for uploading at ceac.  while we have uploaded/submitted documents at ceac and emailed embassy. they didn't respond back yet. at status check it still says administrative processing every day 'last case update date becomes the current.

lawyer is giving us hard time, so i 've no idea if she's giving us correct advise.

i asked her about the submit original documents things that why is it written on that letter, after few days since she had already uploaded documents at ceac, she said ok then send it to embassy as well. seems like she has no idea about it.

Do we need to bring a copy of the original I-130 to the interview? My file didn't save properly when I finally printed and I don't think i can get an exact copy.
