This doesn't surprise me one bit at all. I stopped watching basic cable due to all the commercials a couple years back and this weekend's 90 Day Fiance affirmed that decision. I used to only watch 2 shows on cable TV but even that was after recording them to go past all the commercials. But now that number is down to 1 show since Colony is apparently canceled.

I highly recommend watching either Premium Cable, Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Aljazeera on my tv.

Totally agree , I pay a combined amount of 24 dollars a month for Amazon prime and Hulu.

During game of thrones season ,I'll pay an extra 12 dollars for the HBO package then cancel it when I'm finished.

Since I moved back to NC in January we have Directv because of our location but we do have 1Gig Fiber coming into the house so that's great. I am waiting for football season to see how it is before I cancel it. But in reality I watch more Filipino TV and Mickey Mouse(the baby loves it) than I do any other tv at all.

I've never heard of animal kingdom or yellow Stone. They sound like fun shows to watch though.

90day finance is a travesty just like every other "reality" show besides ...cooking competitions on food network, a true test of skill and efficiency.

I thought all the cooking competitions were fixed events?  I do remember hearing about that in British news media.
