Green Card Interview Question

Hello!

I have a question about the Green Card interview for a person who came here on a K-1. Do you need to bring conversation evidence for the Green Card interview (as you do for the K-1 interview)? I am referring to things such as chatlogs, e-mails, call logs, WhatsApp, et cetera. And what about pictures together - do they still want to see things like that at the Green Card interview?

Thanks in advance!

I would include pictures, but NONE of the other things you mentioned.........those chat logs, etc. might give the impression that you and your spouse lived apart....

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

So, chat logs and such are not good but, pictures of us together throughout our life will look good? And would you bring this to the interview or send them in with the AOS package?

For us we brought a photo album of the wedding and our celebration after the ceremony which the IO seemed to enjoy.  We did not include any chat logs, or anything like that.  I think most of the information they are looking for is the start of the comingling of the lives of a couple and things that a married couple would do such as joint taxes, insurance coverage, joint utility bills, joint bank accounts, etc.  For a K1 with an AOS filed soon after arrival and marriage, I don't think they expect a lot of this information hence the need for the ROC, but combine your lives as much as you can once you are legally married.

Good Luck!

Do they care about how many things you start join accounts on? If you send the AOS package a month or so after you marry, there is only so much you can do, no?
